Meds@Once

If you aren’t using our Meds@ONCE service, you’re missing out.

Our Meds@ONCE service makes getting your prescriptions every month as simple as possible.  Your maintenance prescriptions will be refilled every four weeks for a 28 day supply.  The pharmacy technicians will call you every four weeks to go over the prescriptions you are taking and make any necessary changes.  They will communicate with your prescribers to solve any problems and have everything ready for pickup or delivery on schedule so that you never run out of the medication you need.

In some cases, Med@ONCE patients are eligible for extended delivery or mail out options.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this cost me extra?

Meds@ONCE is a free service that we offer to all of our patients.  There is nothing extra for you to do other than answer your phone when we call you each month!

How will I know when you are refilling my prescriptions?

We will call you a couple days before your regular fill date to review your prescriptions and to let you know when they’ll be ready for pickup or delivery.  We will also include a note with your medication, listing your next sync date so that you can mark your calendar for the following month.

How will I know what I’m getting?

When we call you prior to your fill date, we will review your prescription profile and answer any questions that you may have.  We want to make sure that we know exactly what you need, including any new or as needed (PRN) prescriptions.  This also gives us time to contact your doctor for refill authorization if needed so that we have everything ready for you on your fill date.

What about my family members’ prescriptions?

Convenience is one of the benefits of Meds@ONCE.  If we can sync your prescriptions with those of other family members, we will!   We want to save you extra phone calls and trips to the pharmacy.

Why do I only have 28 pills?

We want you to always receive your prescriptions on the same day of the week.  In order to keep everything on schedule, we do things a little differently.  By providing you with a 28 days supply rather than a 30 day supply, your prescriptions can be refilled every four weeks on the same day each month.  If your prescriber writes your prescription for 30 days, you will still have access to the extra two days worth of medicine, should you need it.

Why do I only have a few tablets?

You might have a prescription that had to be “short filled” in order to give you enough of the medicine to get you to your next regular fill date. Check the quantity on the label.  If, for example; the label says there should be twelve pills, and you have twelve pills, you’re in good shape.  You can expect a full 28 day supply to be filled again on your regular fill date, before you run out of anything.
